3D Shape Transformations 9 comments
HOMEWORK: DUE WEDNESDAY 5TH JUNE 15 comments
In class we have been talking about snapshots. Your homework for this week, which is due next Wednesday, is to complete a snapshot on this image. A snapshot is a piece of writing which is short and sharp and includes lots of descriptive writing.
Before writing you may wish to write some notes (like a seed) to help you when writing. Think about what is happening in the image, what you might see, think, smell, taste or hear.
I would like you to either handwritten or type your snapshot.
Doyle’s Night with A-He 4 comments
Last night Doyle took A-He and A-Shun home. A-He and A-Shun had a look and a ride on their dirt motorbike and then went to footy training with Doyle. They then watched The Voice and played with Doyle’s dogs. I think that they had a great night.

Making Clouds with our Buddies! 3 comments
Yesterday with our buddies we did a science experiment where we made a cloud! We put hot water in a jar and placed ice in the lid on top of the jar. We then sprayed hairspray into the jar and replaced the lid. After a few minutes we lifted the lid and watched the cloud!
3D Shapes and their Nets 2 comments
Yesterday we created 3D shapes and then pulled them apart to see their nets. We then drew the nets in our books.

What is the process in the sentence?
What is the circumstance?
3D Shapes and their Nets – HOMEWORK Leave a comment
Yesterday, we had a big discussion around the nets of 3D shapes. A net is a 3D shape that has been “unfolded” to become 2D shapes joined together. We created and drew these nets using concrete materials. I set a challenge to find out how many different nets can make a cube. As a class we found 13! I have been told, however that there is 14.
My challenge to you is to find the 14th net. I will leave the nets that we have drawn on the board for you to go off. The first one to find the 14th net will receive 3 stars.
Good Luck!
